Bloom Up Active ("we", "us", "our") runs one-day hiking, kayaking, beach and grill trips across the UK and beyond. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our site, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address and password. When you reserve a spot on a trip, we record which event you've booked, how many participants you're bringing, and the price of your booking. We also keep a record of trips you've completed so we can show your progress on your dashboard.
We use your information to run your account, process trip bookings, communicate with you about the trips you've booked (including cancellations or changes), and show you your own booking history and progress. We don't use your data for anything beyond running the service.
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the site against cross-site request forgery. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
We don't sell your personal data. Trip leaders can see the names of people registered for a trip they're running, for safety and headcount purposes. We may share information where required by law.
We keep your account and booking history for as long as your account is active, so you can track your progress over time. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll remove your personal data except where we need to keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account entirely. To do any of this, email us at hello@bloomupactive.com.
Our trips and this site are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know next time you sign in.
